eS will close its doors

Hey all
Even though I'm pretty sure there aren't many visiting our site anymore, I wanted to write something rather than just disappearing.
As you can read, eS will close its doors. I've had a great time here with the people and met some nice people. We had some nice servers with quite a lot of population and regular visitors which showed we provided something nice for the UT2004 scene. Unfortunately, not every made it to UT3 so this is one major reason why eS won't go on. Personally, I don't like UT3 that much... I expected a game similar to UT2004 but I miss too much things in there. The game is nice, just not the thing I wanted and I think I'm not alone with that oppinion.
Furthermore, I've had some troubles in RL which I had to solve first. I'm starting to get things sorted now and it should become better again.
The servers will stay online for the next time but not that long anymore. I'm not that sure when they will switch it off but I don't care that much anymore about it. I've sold the server and i...

A few site updates
Reads: 2540 |

Hey there
While getting a bit exciting about the new UT release which will be pretty soon, I'm trying to update the site's content to have also UT3 covered. So far I could update our Downloads section where you will find the Beta Demo and new categories for UT3. Same with the Web Links section. I've moved relevant UT3 sites to the new UT3 categories.
Furthermore, I've started a new survey. Maybe you like to vote :
What do you think about the UT3 Demo?
If you find anything which is outdated or where you think we should update, add, remove something, please let me know and I'll take a look. Feel free to submit your own Links and Downloads if you find anything useful
There will be also a new version of your site software pretty soon which will give me quite some work. It's a larger upgrade than before but it has been pretty updated and we can expect a few nice new features

Unreal Tournament 3 Beta Demo

Hey there
I'm glad to announce that I've just set up an UT3 Demo Server and so far it runs pretty k, also on our server Maybe we're lucky and there will be no need to buy a new server but we have to see first. We shouldn't get too exciting
The server is named: eS_UT3 and runs as a Death Match server so far. I probably will switch to another game type sooner or later.
If you cannot find it in the server browser or having problems to connect, try the following console command:
| Code: | | open 84.244.146.13:1337 |
That's our IP of the server and port I've used.
Anyway, the new UT3 looks pretty nice so far and I expect a pretty sweet game once it's hits the floor with a final release. However, I miss the dodge jumps quite a lot It feels somehow faster though, not sure if it's just me I like the style so far and the 2 DM Maps I've played are pretty ...

Hi
Another little updated I've just finished on our site. As with the last update, this mainly fixes issues with the CMS as well as closes security holes to make our site more stable and secure for all of us.
As always, if you find any problems, please let me know, thanks.

Site upgraded to Nuke-Evolution 2.0.3

Hey there
Just updated our site to the most recent release. It mainly fixed issues in the CMS and fixes some security issues so there is not really anything new.
I've upgraded the shout box. The new shout box has a bit less queries and won't refresh the site anymore when you shout which makes it faster. This version is still beta so there might be issues with it but so far it looks fine.
As always, if you find any problems, please let me know, thanks.

Site moved to a new host

Hey all
Sorry that the site suddenly went down but I was wondering the same when I tried to access the site a few days ago. I couldn't contact my friend anymore where the site was hosted (I only heard that in his country they have a lot political problems right now and I assume it's because of that) so I was forced to take all my files and DB and move to a new host.
During this night I have worked to get everything moved to our new host and I'm happy that it went that smooth. We have no data loss and everything seems to be up and running as expected.
If you find any issues, please let me know, thanks.
Enjoy the site again

Hey there
Well, the clan already knows quite a long time that Sea is no longer a part of our clan but never actually announced it so I thought it's time.
I hope you enjoy what you do and thanks for being a part of our clan even though it wasn't that long.

ATi Catalyst Driver 7.1 released
Reads: 3684 |
Posted by LombudXa on
ATi has released a new version of their Catalyst Drivers (v7.1).
New Features
This release of the ATI Catalystâ„¢ Software Suite includes Crossfireâ„¢ enhancements that enable the Alternate Frame Rendering (AFR) Crossfire rendering mode by default so that users will see significant performance benefits across all AFR compatible applications immediately (including newly released applications, so users do not have to wait for a future ATI Catalystâ„¢ release to add Crossfireâ„¢ support for newly released titles). Future ATI Catalystâ„¢ releases will add further Crossfireâ„¢ performance gains once new applications have been profiled specifically for Crossfireâ„¢.
Issues Resolved in the ATI Catalystâ„¢ Software Suite 7.1
The following section provides a summary of the issues that are resolved in the latest release of the ATI Catalystâ„¢ Software Suite. These include:
